From the train station

Bus in around 10 min. (bus ticket per person ca. € 2.90):

Number 3 towards "Salzburg Süd"
Number 5 towards "Birkensiedlung"
Number 25 towards "Hellbrunn-Untersberg"

Get off at the “Rathaus” (police station) stop

Then go left in the direction of "Restaurant Indigo". Turn right here on to the Klampferer Gasse. The Goldgasse begins before the "Alter Markt" square between the Salzburger Sparkasse and Oberbank. Follow the Goldgasse until you come to house number 10, where our hotel is located on the right.

From the airport

Bus in around 15 min. (bus ticket per person ca. € 2.90):

Number 10 towards "Sam"

Get off at the “Herbert von Karajan Platz” stop

Turn right at the "Universitätsplatz" and head via the Grünmarkt towards the Residenzplatz. On the left between the glasses and accessories shop, you will see the Goldgasse. Our hotel, house number 10, is located on the left side.

By car

Option 1 (quick parking, 5 min. walk):

Via "Hotelroute Grün" (green route): from the autobahn exit "West A1", drive via the "Innsbruck Bundesstraße" towards the city center. Before the Neutor Tunnel, turn right into Altstadtgarage B (Mönchsberg). Take the elevator down and the "Toscanini-Hof" exit. To the left, you will see the Festspislhaus. Head to the right of the cathedral.

Turn left at the Residenzplatz, and head along the Goldgasse. On the left you will find house number 10, Hotel Goldgasse. The reception desk is located on the 1st floor.

Option 2 (direct access to the hotel):

Via the green route: from the autobahn exit "West A1", head via the "Innsbrucker Bundesstraße" towards the Neutor. Drive through the tunnel and turn left at the light heading along the Franz-Joseph-Kai, which merges into the Rudolfskai (at the "Staatsbrücke" bridge), until you reach the light (Mozartsteg). Turn right here. At the bollard, the hotel name (Goldene Ente) is written down. Please press the button. You will be connected to the reception and will receive an entry code. Drive along the Mozartplatz to the Salzburg Museum and turn right.

On the left, you will see the Residenzplatz. On the right are a few shops (a bank, Manner chocolate shop, and an accessory shop), where you can park. To the right, you will see the Goldgasse. Hotel Goldgasse, house number 10, is on the left side of the street. (1 min. walk). More information about parking is available at the hotel.
